Scouting About with Nukeproof: Part 3

by 0

Remember the new Nukeproof kit we posted about earlier this week? Well, look close enough in this video and you’ll see it in action. We can’t really promise you’ll be able to concentrate though, because the riding in Scouting About is wild.

Tommy C delivers once again and teamed up with Laurence Crossman-Emms taking photos, and Jon Gregory on graphics, this is a banger.

Scouting about with Nukeproof
Elliott, Lil’ Robbo, Adam and Blake.

Our Scoutin’ About series encapsulates everything we all love about bikes. Simple no-nonsense, messing about with mates, getting the stoke kettle boiling hot and egging each other on to go bigger, faster and wilder. All this on the Nukeproof Scout.

This is the third in the series we’ve shot with Tommy C, all have been gems and weirdly there was a demand for more madness. So despite no real need to promote a bike when demand is already ‘slightly high,’ this edit just for pure entertainment value and put a few smiles on people’s faces.

Looks like they had fun.

The Riders

Not to forget the riders, of course, we have Adam Brayton, Elliott Heap, Blake Sampson and Lil’ Robbo making an appearance and causing mayhem.

Blake Sampson
Blake Sampson.

Mr Scout* (*according to the Nukeproof Scout owners forum) Blake Sampson. Riding his custom spec Nukeproof 275. SCO’scar winner of Fans favourite- Blake ‘can I have your autograph’ Sampson.

Nukeproof
Elliott Heap
Elliott Heap.

Scoutin’ About veteran, Elliott Heap on the Team Chain Reaction Cycles spec Scout 275. Winner of the SCO’scar for best dismount (Should have read the no running on wet wooden pier signs) Also, first to send it out the park.

Nukeproof
Lil' Robbo
Lil’ Robbo.

The wildest man this side of Runcorn: Lil’ Robbo on the Stock Scout 275 Race. Unfortunately, whilst ‘taking it easy,’ Lil’ Robbo’s foot decided it wasn’t liking the direction it was facing and did a U-Turn. You will be pleased to know he’s on the mend, but all our thanks to the awesome ambulance crew and NHS staff that rebuilt him. He will be back.

Nukeproof
Adam Brayton
Adam Brayton.

Grandad aka Adam Brayton (who Scout’ed all the locations). SCO’scar winner of the biggest send to absolutely and utterly nothing. Also, the shameless award, as he put on a wetsuit to jump into the lake (But then he is a Grandad).

Not too good about writing about myself, but not so bad at writing about other things. There was a time that I hated bikes, but then they became my life. Wouldn't be the person I am if I hadn't been on this journey. Here's to bikes, drinking tea and everything that comes with life on two wheels. I'm Lauren, I like bikes and writing about them. Always trying my best and up for adventures.
