Midweek Movies: Road Trips, Racing and New Things

It’s hump day, we’re just a few days away from Friday! There’s nothing like watching some riding videos to make you dream of heading off on adventures. The weather hasn’t got the memo that we’re heading into June it seems, so fingers crossed for some better weather soon. Here are some of the best videos we’ve found this week.

The Back Forty – A Short Film About Discovering One’s Own Backyard

Casey Brown, Micayla Gatto and Georgia Astle spend some time getting to know the trails around them. This looked like such a good road trip.

The Kenevo SL

There’s just something about Specialized launch videos, and this one is no exception. Don’t forget to check out our first look of the Kenevo SL here.

Is this a Bike Trail or Art Work (Rock) | Whistler, The Thing

Rémy Métailler and Claire Buchar ride The Thing! in Whistler. It’s pretty cool to hear that the Mayor plays his part in developing the trails in the area too.

Rob Williams | Trail Wide | V2

Rob Williams puts his Hunt trail wides through their paces in Wyllie woods.

DARKFEST 2021 – Whole course is finished and The Riders Arrive!

The Darkfest course is almost finished. Sam Reynolds is doing a great job of keeping everyone up to date with the event just as riders start to arrive.

Shit Mountain Bikers DON’T Say

Yeah, we never say any of these things, or do we?

Rob Warner Races

Graubünden landed into collective conscience courtesy of the ‘Home of Trails’ video starring Danny MacAskill and Claudio Caluori. Graubünden itself is not a resort but a canton in south eastern Switzerland sharing a border with Lichtenstein and Italy, containing the bike resorts of Davos Klosters, Arosa Lenzerheide and Laax, Engadin…

Fold+R°ll

No one needs to see your pants! Fed up of flinging socks and pants around while trying to get her laptop out of her bag in meetings, cycle commuter Beate Kubitz developed a quick, smart way of transporting clothes and keeping them separate. The Fold+R°ll neatly and simply allows your…

Not too good about writing about myself, but not so bad at writing about other things. There was a time that I hated bikes, but then they became my life. Wouldn't be the person I am if I hadn't been on this journey. Here's to bikes, drinking tea and everything that comes with life on two wheels. I'm Lauren, I like bikes and writing about them. Always trying my best and up for adventures.

  1. Really enjoyed backyard BC, reminds me of a trip we did a few years back. I really was born in the wrong place

  2. That Specsh video is so naff, only appealing to 14 year old boys who probably don’t have £6-10k in their piggy bank. Save the advertising budget and discount the bikes! Or go back to the folks who did the last Stumpy Evo video.
