Monkeys Sauce starts production of Hydroalcoholic Gel for hospitals

by 2

French company Monkeys Sauce has shifted production from sealant and bike cleaning products to manufacture Hydroalcoholic Gel for hospitals.

It’s at times like these that we’re proud to be part of the mountain bike community, and as the world goes into lockdown, athletes, brands and manufacturers pull together to support their community.

For French company Monkeys Sauce, this means using its stock of glycerin, used in tyre sealant, and alcohol, used for cleaning machines, to work manufacture Hydroalcoholic Gel which will be supplied to local hospitals around France.

Those of us who have tried to buy hand disinfectant gel will know that it’s in high demand and finding it on store shelves is pretty impossible, so for a company to step up like this is admirable.

It’s important for us to do something for the world

MONKEY’S SAUCE and HEXIS Group (our parent company, manufacturer of self-adhesive vinyl films) produce hydroalcoholic gel to supply hospitals.
.
Glycerin is a major component of our sealant and we use alcohol to clean all machines & to produce some products like Hexis Shagclean. As we have a lot of stock that’s why we decided to produce hydroalcoholic gel.

Thank you to all the staff currently working at the factory while respecting the safety rules 🙏🏻
