The Riva Bike Festival at Lake Garda has announced that the event has been postponed until the end of July.

*german version below* . Due to the fast changing situation with COVID-19, we unfortunately have to reschedule the FSA BIKE Festival in RIVA. Our top priority is the health and well-being of all the visitors, riders, staff, volunteers and partners. But we have good news – a new date has been found: get your red pen out and mark the 24th – 27th of July in your calendar and get ready to rejoin the crowd! We are in permanent contact with the responsible authorities, and it is clear that the only way to contain the spread of the virus is by implementing given guidelines. Social distancing is currently the only responsible course of action. No final decision has been made concerning the other BIKE Festivals in 2020 – we will get back to you as soon as plans have been finalized. Thank you for your understanding. Angesichts der sich schnell verändernden Situation rund um COVID-19 müssen wir das FSA BIKE Festival Riva leider verschieben. Unsere oberste Priorität ist die Gesundheit und das Wohlbefinden aller Besucher, Fahrer, Mitarbeiter, Freiwilligen und Partner. Die gute Nachricht ist, dass bereits ein neuer Termin gefunden werden konnte; vom 24.07 bis 26.07.2020 wird das FSA BIKE Festival in Riva stattfinden. Wir stehen in dauerhaftem Kontakt mit den zuständigen Gesundheits- und Regierungsbehörden und können nur durch die Umsetzung vorgegebener Richtlinien die Ausbreitung des Virus eindämmen. Dies dient dem Schutz aller! Bezüglich der weiteren BIKE Festivals in 2020 werden wir euch zeitnah und transparent informieren. Vielen Dank für euer Verständnis. Riva Bike Festival

Andi is a gadget guru and mountain biker who has lived and ridden bikes in China and Spain before settling down in the Peak District to become Singletrack's social media expert. He is definitely more big travel fun than XC sufferer but his bike collection does include some rare hardtails - He's a collector and curator as well as a rider. Theory and practice in perfect balance with his inner chi, or something. As well as living life based on what he last read in a fortune cookie Andi likes nothing better than riding big travel bikes.
