Hunt Wheels announces sponsorship of Matt Stuttard and Sophie Tyas for 2019 read the full press release and details below.

“Race season. As riders it gets us excited; signalling the end of winter it brings with it fresh motivation to ride. Anticipation to witness edge of your seat moments as limits are pushed and dream moments created. But this year there is another reason to be excited, this year we have our own racers to root for.

Introducing Matt Stuttard and Sophie Tyas. For 2019 they will be chasing the clock and putting HUNT wheels to the test across the globe, providing us with invaluable feedback to continue developing the best wheels for riders.

Despite a promising start, disaster struck in Madeira 2017 forcing Matt off the bike for almost a year.

Champion is back to full fitness with his sights set on the upcoming EWS season. Aiming to fit in as many UK Enduro and DH events too, Matt will be racking up the miles over the summer.

“I’m really impressed with how they’re holding up and especially with the inserts in now, I’m confident they’ll have no problems coping with most terrain. I’m really looking forward to the upcoming season and hopefully many more“- Matt

Previously scoring a top 10 at DH World Champs, Sophie is looking to rebuild her racing confidence after a nasty knee injury. A busy season lays ahead creating content in the bikepark, BC Cups and some Crankworx events thrown in too. Based out in Whistler she’ll also be hunting the patio podiums at the weekly Phat Wednesday races.
