Did you enjoy watching Aaron Gwin and Neko Mulally racing the DH WC on YT bikes for the past few years? Well, we hope you truly savoured those days as they have officially come to an end.

It’s not really such a surprise that downhill legend Aaron Gwin has parted ways with YT, there have been rumours suggesting such a split for months and Gwin practically confirmed the mote on Instagram just last month. What’s really interesting is that Neko Mulally is also leaving YT too, but does this necessarily mean that both riders will remain on the same team for 2019?
The big question now is where will Gwin end up for the 2019 World Cup season? According to our sources, it seems highly likely that we’ll see AG riding on an Intense in the near future. Gwin and Jeff Steber are practically neighbours and the fact that Intense have proven that they can get test mules up and running in a short time is sure to please Gwin too.
We’re not sure at this point if Gwin and Mulally will still be riding under the Mob umbrella in 2019 either. It’s possible that the Mob could survive but with a different frame supplier, but we’ll just have to wait and see.
