It’s a bit nippy here, good job we have all these fresh goods to keep us warm. Some of us, anyway. Fresh Goods Friday 412!

by 4

It’s been a busy week here at Singletrack. Hannah has become so used to her gnarly riding, foam pit sessions and BMX tracks that the moment she got back on her gravel bike she fell off (and incurred several injuries). Chipps is shopping for some sequin dungarees to wear to the Singletrack Reader Awards, Amanda has bought a Rover Metro, Andi has bought ANOTHER bike, and there’s a huge hole in the road stopping some staff members making it into the office. And to top it all off, the seasons are changing. Here is your first warning: WINTER IS APPROACHING. There are Christmas decorations out in the supermarket and it is no longer ok to go for a ride without a spare layer of warmth. Check out this week’s fresh offering of goods to help prepare yourself for the coming winter.

Can’t face lots of words? Then whet your appetite with Fresh Goods Friday Live:

2019 Transition Scout Alloy

As light as 8lb 14oz of feathers

Andi has treated himself to a new frame, this rather nice slate blue 650b Transition Scout. The Scout is a 130mm travel frame designed for 150mm forks, but Andi has gone for a 160mm to make up for his lack of skill. The rest of the build will include that Joystick cockpit we had in FGF 411 last week, a Shimano SLX drivetrain, and whatever else he finds laying around.
