Sixpack Racing are a direct sales company based in Germany, with a focus on designing and machining their own products. The Kamikaze pedal they were showing last year is still upcoming, but they had a few new things to show us this year.

This is their flagship pedal, the Skywalker, starting at €159.50.

Through-pins are a solid choice…

… and there are four bearings per pedal, though we’re curious as to how that exposed axle will do in UK conditions.

While they’ve been making flat pedals for quite a while, they had a prototype of their first clipless pedal on show too. There’s not much information for now, but it will apparently come with different axle lengths so riders can tweak their Q-factor.

The Mg model is very clean looking indeed.

The Skywalker stem isn’t new, but the finish on those centre ones caught my eye

Would this be distracting while you’re riding?

Alloy pedal pins if you want to shed a tiny bit of weight, and absolutely need more matchy/clashy/contrasty bits on your bike.

With everything going internal now, they might be a little late to this, but the cable loop is removable and ideal for anyone running an externally routed dropper.

Sixpack Racing sell direct from Germany. You can check the above out and see more on their website.

David started mountain biking in the 90’s, by which he means “Ineptly jumping a Saracen Kili Racer off anything available in a nearby industrial estate”. After growing up and living in some extremely flat places, David moved to Yorkshire specifically for the mountain biking. This felt like a horrible mistake at first, because the hills are so steep, but you get used to them pretty quickly. Previously, David trifled with road and BMX, but mountain bikes always won. He’s most at peace battering down a rough trail, quietly fixing everything that does to a bike, or trying to figure out if that one click of compression damping has made things marginally better or worse. The inept jumping continues to this day.
