The question that’s on every mountain biker’s lips today: Were you the winner of the Singletrack GT Zaskar Carbon giveaway? Unless you’ve been hiding under a rock, you’ll know that we’ve been running a competition over the past fortnight to find a lucky new owner of this gorgeous Zaskar Carbon frameset from GT Bicycles. Well, the lines have already closed, with entries having wrapped up on midnight on Sunday. Been following us on Facebook Live today? Then you’ll know that the winners have already been drawn. So…who won it??

Yes, it’s really real. It’s a very limited edition GT Zaskar Carbon frame, and the only one in the world that we know of that has been signed by Hans Rey himself!

Limited to just 100 frames worldwide, the Zaskar Carbon is an extremely rare piece of engineering. Making it all the more rare, this one has been personally signed by mountain biking and trials legend: Hans Rey.

Not content with just giving away an £1800 carbon frame, we also had a set of Hans Rey signature SQ Labs grips and a SQ Labs saddle to giveaway too.

Just in case you were confused that the Zaskar had been signed by another Hans Rey, this one has definitely been signed by Mr “No Way Rey”.

After the lines had closed, we had over 600 entries into the GT Zaskar Carbon Frame Giveaway. All competitors had to do to enter was to answer this one simple question:

“How many bicycles have Hans & Carmen Rey donated via their Wheels4Life charity?”

Yep, that was it! The answer by the way is 8560 bicycles, which is an unbelievable feat on behalf of Hans & Carmen Rey. The charity is entirely run and managed by Hans & Carmen, and they have undertaken some incredible projects over the years to get bikes to those in need all around the globe. At lunchtime today, we announced the winners of the competition on Facebook Live.
