A Kickstarter campaign has been launched for a new “environment friendly” lubricant developed by Green Oil.
It’s not just a bike-lube – it’s a bit more general purpose than that – and it’s designed to replace commonly used aerosol lubricants. The Slip eco lube will “help solve the environmental and health problem of aerosol lubricants” – so it can be used safely indoors. Which essentially means (as far as we can tell) that it comes in a drip bottle.
According to the Kickstarter page, the Slip lubricant formula protects from metal from rust, reduces friction and repels water… which is basically what all other lubricants do, but *this* one is made from plant extracts.
