Endura Launches New Winter Jacket

by 0

Scottish clothing company, Endura, have launched a new winter jacket just in time for Christmas (If you are quick). Their SingleTrack jacket is designed for our kind of winter and is available in a pleasingly comprehensive range of sizes for both men and women. We are hoping to get a test sample in asap to put it through it’s paces but from the sounds of the press release below it’s been tested for the last six months by Endura riders already, and if that means it’s made it through the diabolically wet start to winter this year in the UK then we are already impressed.

Livingston, Scotland, December 14th 2015 – ‘Tis the season to be cosy. On the bike of course – not cuddled up on the couch stuffing your face with Christmassy stickiness! Hitting the trails in one of Endura’s striking new Men’s or Women’s SingleTrack Jackets will keep you protected from the foul winter weather and looking as slick as your riding skills can support. When Scottish Enduro Champion Katy Winton of Endura Bergamont Team received her much anticipated SingleTrack Jacket she posted: “6 months ago I did this photo shoot for @enduraofficial and got to try this awesome jacket and now it’s ready and I have one of my own!! So nice, great colour and fit, check it out ladies! Massive unflattering rain jackets be gone! Thanks Endura, I’m stoked out ma nut!” To clarify any confusion “stoked out ma nut” is a Scottish term for “very happy”.

The SingleTrack Jacket is constructed from a 2.5 layer waterproof and breathable fabric which fends off wind and rain and keeps you dry inside while pushing sweat out. Fully sealed seams provide additional protection with under-arm zipped vents allowing you to let steam off when things get steep. The engineered hood is adjustable via drawcords and cleverly stows away into the collar for those who prefer a clean, flap free neckline, while the Velcro cuff straps and drawstring hem let you to tweak the fit. Two zipped hand warmer pockets and a zipped Napoleon chest pocket give plenty of space for all the small essentials you carry with you. The bike-specific cut with a modest protective droptail provides full freedom of movement no matter what your favoured type of riding, from thrashing the local trail centre to exploring the great outdoors or scouting for big hitting jump lines like Endura sponsored freerider Chris Smith.

As a true all-rounder the SingleTrack is also the perfect companion for outdoor activities, walking the dog or an inclement trip to your local pub.
