by 12

Like an ever turning wheel, the cycle comes around again. And why else would the Great Green Arkleseizure see fit to bestow upon us – Its cowering Jatravartid followers – the joy that is Friday, if not to stare agog at some fancy bike kit? Well, get amongst it then!

Giant Reign 27.5 1

160mm of travel in a long, low chassis. It’s also nice and slack with an oversized steerer tube. Rock and – let’s not be coy about it – Roll.

Maestro suspension, Monarch Plus Debonair shock, and nice colour-coordination there, Giant.

Haibike Xduro Fat Six

DSC_0321 We’ve got a fat e-bike in to test! A FAT E-BIKE! What’s not to love? Huge tyres, a Bluto fork, a smattering of XT, and an electric motor to help you muscle the 50lb weight up climbs. Even the electric naysayers have quietly admitted it looks rad. It only works then you pedal though, and even then only under 16mph. So don’t be getting any ideas, y’hear?

Hai, battery.
DSC_0327
Purposeful. And WIDE.

Bish bash Bosch (OK, I even hate myself now)

There does look to be a certain amount of blitzkrieg about that ‘lecy fat bike!

I see the ‘oblique introductory paragraph generator’ has outdone itself again! 🙂

I want that Reign, but for no reason other than its paint job.

Im pretty sure the reign and the charger pump have been around for a while now. Or are they 2016 models?

I like the idea of the flash charger. But I’m most impressed with canal lock. The big question is, how come it’s not full of shopping trolleys and sofas?

Has that TSG top got a zip/pocket halfway down the sleeve?

Really wanting to not like that Haibike but it actually looks pretty good (aesthetically I mean, still not convinced on electric mountain bikes generally), I wouldn’t want to have to lift it over many gates or stiles on a ride though

Ha ha, yes, I agree about the blitzkrieg paint job. Very ‘SS camouflage smock’ styling! Maybe they should have named the bike ‘Das Panzer’ and really gone the whole hog.

Great piece of writing, more of this and I’ll resubscribe
    !!

If you like the writing, it’s all me! If you don’t, it’s .. er.. someone else 🙂
