Akrigg’s custom trials bike stolen

Top trials rider and all-round good northerner, Chris Akrigg, has had his van stolen, complete with one-off trials bike in the back. Needless to say he’s very gutted, so if you see either of them, get on the phone to the Five-Oh.

Chris says of his bike:  The bike is a one off, not another one like it on the planet! Frame is mega basic, hand painted matt blue, no frame number, its just rad! XTR Brakes, XT cranks, pro bars. Keep ya eyes peeled please..

The van is a Fort Transit Sport – YF59 XTC. Contact the cops if you see either.

He’d only just built it, too!

It does give us a good excuse to re-visit one of our favourite Akrigg videos from his brakeless trials days.
