Which is the hottest hotel for mountain bikers for 2014?
The hottest new hotel catering for mountain bikers and of course their better halves is The Brimstone at Great Langdale. These guys opened in 2013 and have some of the best rooms in the country. They have a choice of places to dine depending on your mood and taste, from relaxed pub to fine dining. Grizdale Forest is accessible from their front door and they have secure bike storage and a heated boot room. After a days riding, you can head to the spa for a massage, or back to the room and find double/twin baths, complimentary canapés, wine and beers.
Where else would you suggest is a must for Singletrack readers?
Carbis Bay Hotel in Cornwall, which is very close to The Bike Barn and a great place to start off on the coast to coast trail.
Do any of the Crisp White Sheets team own a mountain bike?
Two of us have a mountain bike, sadly with a combination of flat tyres and hard seats you can imagine how many miles we have done this year so far. I am a firm believer that those gel seats must be a better option for soft females! We have to contend with dreaming of riding somewhere with fantastic views, ideally a ski lift to take us to the top so that we can freewheel down.

No mention of mountain bikers on their website… how do I search for mountain bike friendly hotels?
they seem to cater for golf, but not bikes 🙁
They are updating deals all the time but the main story gives you the current cycling related deals. There is also a dedicated STW page on their site, here
