Here at Trans-Savoie we are excited to announce a further ten places for the second edition of our Big Alpine Enduro will be released late this December. After the overwhelming success of the first multi-day Trans-Savoie event, and thanks to exciting sponsorship partnerships to be announced in the New Year, capacity has been increased for next August’s event.

The latest application window opens for 24 hours only on December 27th 2013 at 18.00 GMT. Full details of the entry requirements and race package details are available at trans-savoie.com/entry.php

New and previously unsuccessful applicants are invited to apply and will be considered equally, with successful candidates selected at random & to be informed by email within 5 days of the entry window closing.

Don’t miss the opportunity to join the point-to-point race that is redefining all-mountain racing and offers the adventure of a lifetime and around 25,000m of descending in six days across the French Alps.

What’s new?

A large contingent of Pro mountain bike riders are in the process of signing up for 2014, which means successful entrants will be afforded a chance to witness first hand leading racers from the EWS series compete on the longest, most spectacular tracks on the Enduro calendar. Obviously, some riders may prefer to complete the beautiful, scenic Trans-Savoie route with friends at a more relaxed, safer pace, and the choice is yours on how best to tackle the adventure.

The Trans-Savoie Guided Experience

We understand not all riders will want or to race or ride all day every day for six days straight (or sleep under canvas!), and thanks to sister company Trail Addiction we’re able to offer all the excitement for those that can’t make it to the race with guided, fully catered Trans-Savoie Experience holidays next year. On limited dates in 2014, riders will get the chance to ride the entire 300km route on one day on, one day off basis that offers a more relaxed way to take in the challenging Savoie terrain and includes some hidden gems we simply couldn’t squeeze into the race schedule. Included in the adventure are several opportunities to don an official timing chip and check your speed on actual race stages against former competitors and legends like Megavalanche legend Rene Wildhaber.
