UK Gravity Enduro Series announces new title sponsor for 2012

After a successful first year, the UK Gravity Enduro series is set to return for 2012 with an all-new title sponsor, last year’s title sponsor 661 having been replaced Fetish Bike Co, a recently opened Gloucestershire-based bike shop.

Shimano have also come on board as a support sponsor and will be present at each round to give technical help along with Continental Tyres and Streak Clothing.

Inners is likely to be location for first round

We’ve previously reported the dates for the series but venues have yet to be all confirmed, although posts on the UK Gravity Enduro Facebook group suggest that Innerleithen and Eastridge are certain to be in there.

It seems that the existing team behind the series will see some change as well, with David ‘Tally’ Tallontire no longer helping organise the series due to work and family commitments. Posting to Facebook he said:

“It was a tough decision to pull out, my trail building and uplift businesses are busy and with two kids I just can’t find the time! Well I could but I want to race too. I’ll be at the races but as a competitor next year!”

Entry fees are likely to be the same as last year but organisers now aim to have a cash prize fund for the fastest time at each round. Entries for the series are likely to be open in the last week of January 2012 but we hope we’ll have more details before then.
