A bit of kit for a Monday morning – we’ve just been sent over some shots of Truvativ’s 2012 range. There’s no Hammerschmidt 2 (booo!) but they’ve updated their stems and seatposts with some new colours, logos and graphics but, in good news for everyone, their lightweight carbon Noir handlebars have got wider – a proper 700mm.

The AKA post remains unchanged…
The AKA group is Truvativ’s all mountain group. The stem is 3D forged and available in lengths from 60-110mm. There’s a 1.5″ steerer option too.
The once-massive 780mm Boobar is now a relatively skinny bar in the DH world. Probably about as wide as you want to go though…
Holzfeller freeride bars get 730mm width and 20/30/40mm rise options.
The burly Holzfeller stem gets a makeover
More proper width lightweight bars – Noir T4 bars come in a 700mm width and 15 or 30mm rises. Weight is said to be around 190g.
The Noir T40 post now has Ti bolts to go with the forged head and carbon fibre shaft
Stylo T30 stem gets new graphics and does without the Ti of the T40
The 700mm wide Stylo T40 flat bar should offer a bit of downhill control in an XC style..
The forged and butted Stylo T40 post also gets Titanium bolts
