Finally, a cycle show is happening in the north, with tickets for the Scotland’s first ever bike show going on sale today. The Scottish Bike Show 2011 will take place in Glasgow on the 16th and 17th of April and will host a selection of Scottish and international brands, covering all forms of cycling from mountain to road.
The show will take place in the Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre and us lot at Singletrack are already down as a media partner. The organisers reckon that Scotland is a perfect place to host an event like this, with spectacular scenery, road routes and mountain bike trails just a short distance away and we reckon they’re right.
Cycle Scotland, Scotland’s governing body for cycle sport, is the official partner for the show and The Prostate Cancer Charity is also being supported, with 10% of the ticket price being donated to them. Renowned skills coaching outfit Dirt School are also confirmed amongst many other – take a look at the list HERE. The organisers say many more exhibitors and brands are set to be announced soon.
If you’d like to get your tickets then you can get them for the advance price of £7.50 from www.ticketsoup.com
