Silverfish get behind Movember

Movember is an international ‘movement’ that sees guys from all over the world embrace the moustache for the whole month of November in the name of raising awareness and money for the Prostate Cancer Charity to help people affected by prostate cancer in the UK. The guys at Silverfish, importers of lovely things from Cove, Race Face, Mondraker and Rocky Mountain amongst others, have been taking it very seriously. Here’s their word on what has been going on…

To help raise a bundle of cash for this great charity all male employees of Silverfish have been spending the dark days of November cultivating serious top lip hair and rocking as much ‘tash’ as possible. As well as lip fuzz Silverfish have also let the Mo-Fairy loose in the office, workshop and warehouse with everything grabbed going into one big box to be given away at the end of the month. The Mo-Fairy showed no remorse grabbing items from desks and people’s personal drawers as well as waiting till the warehouse manager was chomping back a pasty and grabbing goods.

Speaking from behind a classic ‘Ned Flanders’ mo, Sales Manager Richie told us ‘well, we like moustaches, we like raising money for charity and we like to mock those with bum fluff instead of facial hair, so how could we not get involved’.

Marketing Manager Pete Drew was unavailable for comment but rumour has it he was smearing a manure based ‘Mo-Gro’ on his upper lip which could see the Anti-Mo-Doping agency brought in.

To win the complete Grand Prize Box all you need to do is click on the Silverfish JustGiving site www.justgiving.com/silverfishmovember and donate. For every £2.50 you donate via www.justgiving.com/silverfishmovember your name will be added into the Big Movember Grand Prize Draw. This means that if you donate £2.50 you get your name placed into the hat once where as a very generous donation of £10 would get your name in the hat four times, simples.

Then on the 1st December Silverfish will pull a winner out of the hat and that winner will win everything in the Grand Prize box – that’s right; one person wins everything in the box!
