Sequel to Reset Film’s ‘Home’ Premieres

by singletrackjon 17

FIND is the second film from the critically acclaimed Reset Films. Shot on gloriously detailed HDSLRs, FIND is a journey of discovery with some of the worlds most passionate riders in some of the worlds finest locations. A British film that takes you through the highs and lows of physical endeavor with a vast backdrop of stunning locations.

It’s a film that opens your eyes to the world of mountain biking in all it’s forms. We follow world championship winning 24hr solo rider Rob Lee as he tackles his ultra endurance 7DS ride through the Scottish borders.

We’ve also got exclusive interviews with Danny MacAskill and his flat mate film maker Dave Sowerby talking about the highs and lows of the phenomenal youtube edit they put out on the web just over a year ago. We document a mini homecoming for Danny MacAskill with Steve Peat and Hans Rey as they ride the awesome trails of Danny’s home patch in the north west highlands and Skye.

We’ve travelled far and wide across Europe and we’ve had a massive amount of help and guidance from some of Europe’s best guiding companies getting us to some of the best trails in the most breathtaking locations. We’ve shot sections with Rowan Sorrel, Paul Aston, Clive Forth, Matt Simmonds, Joe Smith and up and coming talent Mark Alker to name but a few of the great riders featured in the film. We’ve also travelled a little closer to home to uncover some of the great riding here in the UK with 2x MegaAvalanche winner Jerome Clementz.

If we had to describe the type of riding covered in the film it would have to be the best trail riding you could possibly imagine, we’ve tried to capture this common ground that all riders love no matter what their discipline or background. We wanted to make a film that inspires riders to just grab a bike and head out on the trails.

There will be a Home & Find double bill this Friday the 6th August starting at 8.00pm at Cyclescreen: Bristol’s Bike Film Festival

Other Dates:

The DVD will be released on the 1st September. We’re also looking at screenings in Glasgow (GFT) 7th September, Ambleside (Zeffirellis) 17th September we’re also looking at other dates including Inverness (Eden Court) 7th October.

  4. sanny- can we sort Sheffield too?

  5. Hi 18 Bikes.

Sorry but i’ve only been asked to organise the Glasgow show. On the other hand, I do plan to bring “Lifecycles” to your neck of the woods in the Autumn as part of a Uk tour.

  6. Argh Sanny, please bring Lifecycles to Manchester!!!

  7. Afrothunder

If you can find me a cinema other than Cornerhouse, that would be great. They were very nice about it but told me they weren’t keen on bike films for their programme.

  8. So, who had the final say over the wording of this news item?

“up and coming talent Mark Alker”

Any plans for a London showing?

  9. Sanny
Any chance of speaking to QUAD in Derby about future bike film tours
Im sure they would be very receptive

  10. Does anyone know when Find is going to be available to buy? – nothing on Reset’s website at the mo.

  11. From the story above…
“The DVD will be released on the 1st September.”

  13. Ooops failure to undertake thorough reading of press release, tsk, goldfish attention span…! 😉

  14. Hi Iain1775

I’ll have a crack to them re Lifecycles. I’m going to concentrate on the venues that sold out for the Follow Me tour as my first choice venues. Sorry I can’t be more help about the Find screenings but I’m only doing the Glasgow one.

However, for Lifecycles I’m planning Glasgow, Inverness, Edinburgh, Ambleside, Sheffield, Dales Mountain Bike Centre and London.

  15. Looking forward to the Bristol showing tomorrow night!

  16. Awesome, can’t wait, love the other stuff by Reset 😀

  17. Just got my ticket for tonight. See you there.
