10 time World Cup winner and 2009 World Championship Silver Medallist, Tracy Moseley will be making a rare appearance at an xc event next weekend as the Trek World Racing star spends the day at the British Mountain Bike demo series on Saturday May 8th.

Tracy will be around all day sampling the bikes and riding the trails and her day will culminate in some XC race action as she will guest ride for the Xcracer.com team in the Team relay event on Saturday evening. The Xcracer.com line up will be looking for Tracey to help continue their winning form after a comprehensive victory at round 1.

The demo event takes place over May 8/9 at Wasing Estate near Newbury along with a weekend of race action at Round 2 of the British Mountain Bike Race series. Brands offering free test rides include Trek, Specialized, Giant, Santa Cruz, Merida, Genesis and Yeti.

The race action on Sunday will feature 600 of Britain’s fastest riders taking part from 12 year old beginners, 60 year old legends through to the World Cup riders. Confirmed entrants include Liam Killeen, Lee Williams, Annie Last, Sue Clarke, Robin Seymour, Jody Crawforth, Paul Oldham, Gabriella Day and David Fletcher.

The week after Tracy flies to Maribor to begin her assault on the World Cup Downhill series in Slovenia.

I have been a writer for nigh on 20 years, a photographer for 25 years and a mountain biker for 30 years. I have written countless magazine and website features and route guides for the UK mountain bike press, most notably for the esteemed and highly regarded Singletrackworld. Although I am a Lancastrian, I freely admit that West Yorkshire is my favourite place to ride. Rarely a week goes by without me riding and exploring the South Pennines.
