Seeing as Singletrack readers are everywhere, we’ve been asked to pass on the following info about some stolen bikes…
Last week, the Bicycle Shop in Skipton was ram-raided by a white van.
The following was stolen,
2010 Epic Comp large red/white test bike
2010 Enduro Expert medium silver test bike
2010 Stumpjumper FSR expert anodised red test bike
2009 Big Hit 2. Champagne medium

A shame some of them weren’t painted in very low volume “test bike” colours, then there would only be a few dozen of each in the country.
I hope they get found soon and the culprits are duly delt with.
Exactly the same bikes were stolen in a Ram raid from us in October last year, all our 2010 Specialized test bikes!!!
totally minging bikes but instantly recognisable. Will keep’em peeled.
Really helpful comments those, I’m sure the owners will be indebted to STW. 10k+ of bikes, plus the damage and inconvenience to the shop.
they are low volume testbike colours though….?
M6TTF, my comment was aimed at other not very helpful posts which have thankfully been pulled. Think SpeshPaul is saying they’re NOT the low-volume test bikes, they’re the normal colours, which unfortunately will blend in and never be seen again.
