Loving the Canyon bikes and will probably end up getting one, but i’m a bit disappointed with the paint jobs on them! Surely they could come up with some better colours/ideas

Cannondale use to do good paint schemes but just seem to do boring plain colours now days.

Treks had been nice IMHO for last couple years but this year they look shocking.

Some of the Specialized look good but some are chronic.

Vandeyk. Though for 16000euro it should be dipped in gold.

    Mmm… Pegoretti 🙂

In mass production (sort of) Klein always produced lovely paint – masked decals etc. Still love my Attitude:

Some of the nicest finishes I’ve see in the last few years have been from Signal Cycles: http://www.signalcycles.com/

There’snot much exciting in MTB paint I’ve seen recently. Cotic keeping it nice and simple might be the exception 🙂

My favourite and the one I keep almost buying one is a Soul Cycles Dillenger 29er.

They do a pearlescent white frame with that nice script..

Raw is the best “finish” for a bike imo.

Some of the older Klein paint jobs were awesome!

Some of Trek Project One ones are really nice too.

Some of them a bit ‘acquired taste’ but pergoretti has to be the winner…

1994-1997 Konas. The BEST paint jobs and decals on any bikes ever.

Most of those above look like an Australian’s nightmare.

Making that poxy road bike the same colour scheme as the amazing Porsche 917 is sinful and wrong.

Early 90’s Klein. (moonstone linear fade in particular). Although I feel it probably wouldn’t work without the fat tubes, smooth welds and matching forks/stem.

    Singular bikes always look stunning.
Genesis werre very impressive over the last few years, but the newer blocky graphics look cheap. Shame really.

I’m expecting great things from Pinnacle. 🙂

No I went along the same lines as everyone elses theme of different tastes.

I like pegoretti’s he’s done some wild arty stuff that ain’t around on lots of others maybe its a framebuilder thing.

I’m guessing your not a fan?? But then I think that Colnago looks shit and in real life look worse

No, he’s questioning your “I can’t believe no one has mentioned….” bit. You are the 5th person to mention them in 24 pots!

They are a bit meh for me – can’t argue with the quality, just the taste.

Not mine – but stunning IMO. Full thread Here

😯 🙄 Not seen one in real life then.

This thread has come a week early for me as I pick up my Orange/kingfisher 1980 Holdsworth from Argos next weekend.

    pegoretti and Baum.

even if you don’t like the paint shed accident ones he does subtle too.
    i like this one

mine which is dark metallic blue with a thin white pinstripe design is quite understated too.
