I didn't think I had ridden that far!
We saw a disco ball in the middle of a field on yesterdays ride, wondered what it was as it glinted in the sun from a distance.
Random or what
Not too unusual
My local trails have a field of llama's next to the entrance.
a huge pile of freshly slaughtered rabbits?
Pfft - llamas are ten a penny - now your common or garden alpaca is the scarce beastie.
There's a ride I've done a couple of times down near Hythe, one section of which goes right alongside Port Lympne zoo. Last time I did it, there were a pair of what I think were lynxes in an enclosure right next to the trail. Freaky...
I thought it was because one of them seems to have 2 heads.
I like the bright greeny turquoise mica lakes round our way.
I meant to say that I liked the photo. Undercover investigation into the llama crime ring
They get everywhere!!

You mean llamas disguised as alpacas?

Ahh alpacas. Are they not just small Llama's?
Just for those who don't understand the differences
Anyone who has hens should get a llama
saw a vole type rodenty thing wiggling abiut on the skyline last night, think our lights blinded it.
Have seen plenty of rabbits and foxes too, the odd buzzard, owl, red kite now and again
Random question - whats he legalities of taking a Llama on a bridle path? They're not horses, so presumably it's not allowed? Just curious...

Alpacas aren't really unusual...addictive apparently though.
bleat
Coastkid - Great pic. Now I know where they used to get the material for London Underground seat covers.
First time I saw an alpaca was in a field in Scotland, not far from John O'Groats, on last day of end2end. Did't have a clue what it was, thought I was going mad!
Looks like it's time to dig this one out of my Flickr archives again then.......
Answered my own question - taking a Llama/whatever on a bridleway is illegal (assuming you don't own the land)....
Is that the back of a dog?
You can see wallabies from a bridleway near me. Hooray.
I don't know what the fook that is/was, but it's so wrong!
yep

these were spotted in wales though..

and yes alpacca meat is nice, wouldnt say addictive but nice
Alpacas seem very popular round this way, they almost outnumber the cattle at the north somerset show.
