The parentals are looking to buy a child seat for their 1 year old grand-daughter (not mine). They aren’t too keen on the tradition ‘baby gets to look at your ass’ variety and have been looking at the forward facing, toptube mounted ones such as the WeeRide Kangaroo or Deluxe seats.

Does anyone have any experience of these types of seats and whether there are any other decent ones that they should look at?

    cheers

Weerides are brilliant! No need for the deluxe tho. Freedom to ride properly off road in control. Wheelies, drops, jumps, steep chutes, technical singletrack you name it 😀
get one, you won’t regret it!

Not I think what my parents have in mind….but reassuring. Thanks!

I made my own. Definitely the best place for a seat. You can even take them off-road, and do wheelies! They love it.
