    As above, like something c.2.4-2.5 wide for lakes riding.

    Conti x-king in 2.4 black chilli protection at the back and a 2.4 rubber queen black chilli up front for me seems to work very well.

    Rubber Queen doesn’t roll that fast but grip is fantastic.

    i like bonty big earls, the ARC ones. 2.35 wets. probably classed as ‘old skool’ now though 😀

    That sounds very wide though (unless you’re comparing to a high roller, they were narrow).
