Might be OK if he’s spiked tyres, if he hasn’t I’d suggest he not have much up top to damage.

as long as the the camera is turned back to the horizontal before he rides down it, it should be ok.

There were big stretches of clear ice like that on my commute on Monday, horrible. I managed the uphill section getting off several times to negotiate the worst bits but once I reached the highest point I gave up and walked off the downs to the road. There was no way I was going to try and ride even the gentlest downward slope on it. I was having enough trouble just standing up.

1. The rider is going so fast they huck off it in a straight line clearing all the ice and rock and landing in the snow?

a) Just ice
b) an ice conveyor

?

If it’s a) then he’ll take off. If it’s b) the ice conveyor will cancel out the thrust & he won’t take off.

ice tyres maybe get down ok if kept completely straight no movement at all….
