    Any HR dept that takes the approach kennyp suggested without ensuring they know why the days were taken off

    I should maybe add that those aren’t my personal views (although let’s be honest; every company/department does have folk notorious for sickies), it’s just that I know sometimes that sort of thing is taken into account when drawing up redundancy lists.

    5) Got vaccinated because sometimes us diabetics just die of the flu. That’d show them though-
    “I’m not coming to work for the rest of the week, got the flu”
    “Oh come on, it’s only the flu you big poof. Come to work.

    Um, yes you can, thanks to the European Working Time Directive and subsequent ECJ rulings. Done it myself.
