Seaposts on me road bikes... The Cannondale has a Bontrager Race X carbon post, and it's reet comfy, but it's not got too much layback. The Surly has a Race Face XY, which has a sweet load of layback but is stiff as you like. Layback I need.
Might be time to replace the XY, so... Any suggestions for something with plenty of layback and a decent bit of give? Needs to be a decent length, so short 250mm road posts need not apply. Oh, and it ought to be nicely priced of course 
Just posted a similar topic. How much layback you after? My Thomson isn't enough at 16mm an is as firm as anything. Want something like 30mm with some comfort

I dunno - I can't find a figure, but it's got lots. More than any other post I've used.
I'm looking for a post that's known for having a bit more than normal. Looking it up, the Bonty seems to be nominally 20mm; the XY is certainly more.
I think the reason I ended up with the Bonty last time was because it had more layback than normal - even then it's not really enough but I can get away with it. One solution of course would be another one of those, but it's £70 and if I can find something cheaper and/or with more layback then so much the better. Specialized used to have one but AFAIK it's discontinued.
