I've just had yet another set of RX insert riding glasses (cheapo jobbies again) glazed for next to nowt... This time however the glasses only came with a clear outer lens, and although you can buy more tinted outer lenes for them, I'm half considering either getting a second insert glazed with a fixed tint lens or even a "transitions" treated insert, obviously a clear outer lens with a tinted inner will look odd, but then wearing RX glasses always looks a bit "Special" anyway...
So other than aesthetics can anyone come up with a compelling reason not to try this?
I'm -6 to -6.5 with astigmatism, so I tend to get stuff that works, rather than stuff that's cheap. That said, I used insert RX glasses from Eassun and Adidas for a good ten years or so.
