    Off there this weekend and could do with somewhere for a meal. Dog friendly would be good, but not essential.

    Prob within 10 miles of Matlock…

    Anything standout/good?

    The Sycamore is my local, dog friendly and does decent food with good ales at a excellent price. 5 min walk from town centre. Maazi is a cracking Indian and Viva a good Italian, both priced well but not dog friendly.

    Not been to the Tavern for a while, so can’t coment.

    For curry Matlock Bath Balti just edges it over the Maazi, but both are excellent – if there’s a group of you Maazi is probably a better bet.
