I'm getting in to fooking about/jumping with my wee lad at the local BMX track. Currently riding an old steel rigid single speed MTB.
New bike is obviously required here, but should I look for a 24" Cruiser BMX, or a 26" Dirt Jumper? Ideas? (BTW big lad is 6'4")

I brought a 'long' Maxmax which suits me for that sort of riding and i'm a few inches taller than you 🙂

I did think about getting one of these but the Maxmax worked out cheaper.

You should maintain dignity, ride there on a sit-up-and-beg bike with brake rods, supervise from a discreet distance and then return home escorting the young chap. This should all be carried out whilst wearing tweed and possibly with a pipe clamped twixt teeth.

Anything else will just end up in son wondering how to get dad to A&E!

LOL CFH, you don't know how tempted I was to freestyle on the Pennyfarthing that was being ridden at our local museum the other day. The guy all but offered me a ride, but I didnt fancy learning on tarmac.. 😀

Mark-B – I went for the Faction BMX(L) with the 22" wheels, undoubtedly the most fun bike any lad could have (especially a big lad). His mates will slag him off for the MaxMax choice, its good idea to read reviews that arent written by the salesmen when choosing!
