Set alarm for 06.30, was getting ready at 07.30. Then a storm happened. Went back to bed, couldn’t sleep as wind was too loud. Spent all day wishing I had braved the weather/glad I hadn’t. Here’s to a long hot summer!

Just had a look at the bike which I ‘forgot’ to wash yesterday. It did sink over the fork stantions in that slightly boggy patch where I was forced to dismount quickly over the bars.

Dispicable! I washed both the trailer and my Handjob (which is now looking bloody lovely) – and with a broken hand!

A handjob with that cast on would have chaffed a bit!

My shoes don’t smell very nice anymore…

I wasn’t sure whether to wash my bike or plant it.

Good photos. Was a fun day out despite the mud/water/grinding paste. Good to see the big bike bash venue as well. I’ve lived in the new forest all my life and never knew that place was there!
