    We’ve had several more cold related cancellations for our taster session tomorrow – any takers?

    £10 for an hour on the track, including bike hire. Few quid more if you need to hire shoes. bike hire is usually £9, so this is a bit of a deal!

    18bikes – can you shoot me some more info about the velodrome taster sessions in general? I have a suitable (I think..) track bike, and would love to try out indoor riding 🙂

    Riding the track is ace.

    My track bike is currently hanging in the cellar with a baby enforced break from the merry-go-round of the boards.

    Do it. Sign up. Whizz round as fast as you dare..!

    Plenty of stuff on the manchester velodrome website. http://www.nationalcyclingcentre.com/ride_the_track.html

    You’re better off hiring one if their bikes for a taster. If you turn up with yours and you’re not sure if it’s suitable or not they’ll give it a fairly thorough going over before they let it on the track, best use theirs.

    Taster sessions are run regularly every week
    Tuesday 12:00 – 1:00pm
    Wednesday 12:00 – 1:00pm
    Thursday 8:00 – 9:00am
    Thursday 12:00 – 1:00pm
    Thursday 5.00 – 6:00pm
    Friday 12:00 – 1:00pm
    Saturday 5:00 – 6:00pm
    Sunday 12:00 – 1:00pm
    Sunday 5:00 – 6:00pm

    Just phone up and get yourself booked in, lots of fun.
