eurhg I’m turning 30 and still don’t want them!!! Oh well guess I have another 8 years before I need to start worrying! I think I’m just too selfish love my holidays and freedom!! if I could pick them up from around 6 years old I’d give it a go 😉

#3 ain’t happening no matter how much she pesters me.

27 for the first…then another 3 years later. Probably would have benefited from being a bit older…actually probably would have been better not to have been 5 weeks after moving to rural France, coming in to Winter and with no habitable house.

Initially I didn’t want them either because of the loss of freedom etc…

But there is a plus side.

47 and still no kids. Only a few years to go and we will be safe

39 for number one and number two will be 41 (hopefully close to the due date this time)

34 and she’ll be 5 months on Wednesday. One of my riding mates has a little un of 2 years. He’s 62! It wasn’t planned.

Still freaks me out that people younger than me have had kids. I still see myself as one. Even with a balding pate, beard and encroaching gut.

27 and 31 – wouldn’t have had them at any other age 😀

34 and gutted. Would have probably had one now by now if it wasn’t for the bi-polar incident which ended with the wife moving Australia. Alone.

Might never happen now and that makes me 🙁

I was 26 when my daughter was born and although initially the realities of fatherhood were a shock I love her to bits and she has grown into a proper little character of her own.

In her favorite city.

And on her bike, of course.

30 and 51 weeks.

28 and 30 – if anything would have had them earlier – did lots when I was younger but also relish of doing stuff with them as they grow.

32, 35, 37, Snip! Timing worked out quite neatly, I got made redundant couple of months before number one arrived and turned part time freelancer.

43 + 45.

Pluses and minuses- minuses being that for the first couple of years it probably takes more out of you than it does if you’re twenty years younger. I think just about everything else is a plus.

Of course, that’s just imho.

It’s not the age, it’s the wife. Still love her and would have loved to have had a couple of kids with her.

Making me feel a bit better about my slight concern at being almost 42 when our first two (twins) turn up in June.

I bally-well can’t wait.
