I'm doing the fourteen hill Hills Killer in the Isle of Wight Cycling Festival. It's 52 miles, if you don't get lost, and it's supposed to be quite hard, unless you're a serious athlete, which I'm not.
Anyway, I''m doing it in aid of Age Concern Isle of Wight, for reasons that are explained on my JustGiving page. I've never done this sponsorship thing, (or, at least, not since I was about ten) and I'm finding it exquisitely embarrassing, but a few people have already been very kind and I'm on 9% of my target.
If anyone here did feel moved to help out, I would be very touched. I'd also be very grateful for any advice from people who have done this sort of thing before.
