bigG - MemberEasy way to find out if you have fleas in the house. Get a tealight, put it in the middle of a white plate, put some water with a tiny bit of fairy liquid in it around the tealight, not enough so the tealight floats.
Light the tealight and leave overnight. In the morning if you have fleas in the house some of them will have jumped at the flickering light and drowned in the water. By the number of fleas you find you can work out how bad the infestation is.
Good idea. Will try that tonight. Damn ... not sure where they come from but someone suggested it could be the open windows with many of the magpies/birds brining them in ...
