I hope the ballboy did dive and make a meal of it……give him a taste of his own medicine.

How can a grown man kick a kid in front of so many police and not get arrested, if you were his dad and in the crowd ?

He’d rolled over on the ball, so a bit of a subtle shoeing was in order. Oh, sorry, wrong sport.

As above, he should’ve been arrested there and then, he will be in a lot of trouble for that (major issue if the ball boy is a minor) and deserves a lengthy if not lifetime ban from professional football, absolutely unforgivable.

Meh! If the kid wants to try and join in the game by holding onto the ball when he’s there to give it back,he needs to accept the consequences.

Disgusting just seen this on the news
Just needs to be taken outside and given a good kicking
in saying that, the kid looks young so i would believe the Police
would have no option but to arrest him

Seems a bit harsh for just hanging onto the ball too long.

Yeah that kid had control of the ball, then when he felt someone behind him he threw himself on the floor and made a complete meal of it, like he’d been shot………..as if a professional footballer would do a thing like that!

Seriously I was a ballboy at Wigan in the late eighties and we were told to take our time if we were winning and if we were losing or drawing hurry up.

what was the ball boy doing the tool, can’t condone Hazard, over zealous trying to retrieve the ball.

FA need to just set a rule now, all Ball Boys return ball quick & directly to players. shouldn’t need a rule but looks like we do.

    I found it amusing tbh

And the whole incident just smacks of the lack of respect and cheating throughout the game. Used to love football, slowly going off it due to the players and people generally involved in it! And yes I’ve been to many matches including a dozen or so England games.

1 footballer out of 22 was a tool.

Probably the same in most workplaces.

Didn’t he kick the ball underneath the kid rather than the kid himself?

Either way, what on earth was the kid doing???!

    This

    Mountain made of molehill.

But pro footballers have only themselves to blame them as the ballboy is only copying what happens in every premiership match with exaggerating contact to gain an advantage.

    Bizarre thing to happen.

Little knob probably did deserve a kicking but it should have been dished out by the other ball boys after the game.
