he is honest but his honesty shows him to be a bit out of touch with reality, sexist. often racist [ or culturally insensitive] and not overly compassionate to the world or his subjects. I dont see much to admire tbh. Complaining to lockerbie victims about the flood damage at Windsor castle on a compassionate tour for example or going on about leisure time in relation to unemployed folk is just crass and insensitive IMHO.

Seems pretty moderate for most 80 and 90 years old, I've spoken to.
As for the Chinese eating anything that breathes, have you been to China? As he definately has a good point about that.

I like him, he is straight forward, talks before he thinks and that sometimes upsets people. I don't agree with all his views but reading through that list a lot of the things he says are not as stupid as they first seem.
He is 90 though and there are a whole lot of people of that age out there who say a whole lot worse things than he does.

Should've asked him 'If you think fox hunting with hounds is ok, is getting dogs to fight in a pit also acceptable? After all, the fox is hunted down 'til exhaustion, then ripped apart by a pack of dogs totally unable to defend itself, but at least pit-bull terriers go one-on-one...'
Probbly get some crap answer about 'tradition' or some other equally nonsensical guff....
