Does any one know of a clever way that I can get all of my emails out of my email client (Apple Mail), so that I can delete the accounts and start again with them as IMAPS?

My inbox is a hellish mess and I think this is the way forward…

Good question. I wanted to stop with my pop setup but it looks like virgin media have forced me to go IMAP.

Surely Applemail has an export option? Anyway, I don't know of any simple way to get emails once delivered back INTO a mailserver so you can access them via IMAP. I know a lot of ways of doing it that involves someone with a reasonable amount of technical knowhow but I guess that doesn't help.

Kinda solved it by having a purge and getting a lot of the stuff I needed to keep into Omnifocus. I guess I am at inbox zero! Now to rebuild the damn thing so that it works properly in future.
