I’m pretty sure someone has mentioned on here before that there is a route from ed to peebles, mainly offroad, that is around a 50 mile loop.

Anyone got a link to the map, or even better a GPX file.

Basically involves bit of Pentlands and then Cleish Hills IIRC, look on a map and that’ll get your bearings – it’s relatively straightforward, I’ve managed it in the dark, twice, the section near Peebles is a bit variable and with plenty options.

how do you download the file? Its just a page of text?

This one is alright. I ride to and from Glentress quite a bit, just patching together the best bits – unsure if I’ve got a definitive route as yet though.
