First holiday since being back in the UK. First holiday with solarider jnr (now 5 months old).

Looking for a really nice cottage with decent biking on the doorstep in any of the above locations.

Needs to be really[/u] nice for mrs solarider. Clean, stunning, remote (moon on a stick?!).

Any recommendations?

We rented this last week. Cracking house, Lakes trails from the doorstep, and a barn to stash the bikes in.

Jasmine Cottage Portinscale a stones throw from Keswick a traditional beautiful Lakeland cottage beamed ceilings etc sun room, bike shed boat in the yard to use, log burner & superb inside, wife’s family owned it donkeys years.
It’s on the web, worth a look & next door is the Chalet restaurant fab Lakeland food.

Brilliant cottages – old on the outside, modern inside. Laggan is 10 minutes ride away and plenty of natural stuff in the area.
