    Borgogno barolo

    Innis and Gunn

I’ll have those two thanks! The village wine merchant has just got in a LOT of Barolo. Never had it before but a complete convert – not cheap though so it’s got to be an occasional treat. And Innis & Gunn – I’ve a bottle to have with our beef stew this evening.

We’ve got a bottle of cheapish champagne for Bucks Fizz in the morning, a couple of very good 2001 Rioja Reservas and a 2007 Chateauneuf du Pape to see us and the inlaws through dinner and then I’ve got a selection of Adnams ales and a bottle of Rittenhouse 100% proof BIB rye for the evening.

My wife has decided that sherry is her xmas drink of choice this year. ick.
