  • cannondale scalpel – alloy or carbon frame?

    HI all

    Am thinking of buying a cannondale scalpel as i am after a lightweight xc full suss bike

    the current 2010 models have 3 carbon framed ones and an alloy one with an alloy lefty (scalpel 3)

    am tempted to go for the alloy one at £2600 (as the next one up is £3600 and carbon)

    anyone any comments on the scalpels?

    any other suggestions for a light xc suss bike ?
