DO you know what I thought that but I'm beginning to think it might be oh so right! I used to think Wensleydale ane fruit cake was wrong, likewise to apple and cheese ... so ...... Monday night I'll bake some, taste some and let you all know.

its the same drinking wise as bovril really isn't it? I like it on toast and that's about it really so yep - let me know how you get on MC!

Only in so far as it's brown. About the only thing I've ever missed from being veggie is Bovril; they made it veggie for a while when all the BSE business was going on, it was fantastic. I should've stocked up.
