At least 35 quid a pop. My current combo of specialized all condition is too slow and heavy, however I still want some puncture protection.

    Any cheaper recommendations?

GP4000 isn’t particularly reknowned for puncture protection. The GP 4Seasons might be what you are looking for?

    FWIW, I use the GP4000S.

Don’t know where you’re shopping mate but you can get 4000s’s for around 20 quid each if you hunt around.

Well worth the money though. I won’t use anything else on my roadbikes.

Excellent chaps, I’ll have more of a look around for cheaper prices. Over the years conti ultras have been the fastest I’ve used, but used to get shit-loads of puncs.

    £27.95 here http://www.parker-international.co.uk/6155/Continental-GP4000-S-Folding-Road-Tyre.html

Good tyres, better than the michelin krylions I had.

I use the normal GPs in 22 ‘guise. They have done over 2000 miles on them without any dramas.

worth the money, i also use the ordinary grand prix which are good too.
4-seasons are not as fast, i just use them on my fixed.

Just pulled the trigger and ordered a pair of 25mm. 55 quid from high on bikes, so not too bad overall. Thanks for all the input.
