Does anybody know if formula r1 brakes fit shimano brake adaptors????

Not specifically R1’s, but I’m using RX’s with non-Forumla adaptors.

I had a spare Shimano one for the front but needed a rear 180 so tried a £5 Superstar one – seems OK and no clearance issues.

I am running a Shimano adapter with a formula the one and it works fine. I already had the adapter on the bike and couldn’t be bothered to change the disc to the formula one and buy an adapter (brake was second hand and did not come with one).

    Trust this helps.

Yeah that is exactly what I want to do, currently running XTs’ front and rear and am changing over to formula R1s’ again front and rear but want to keep the shimano discs’ and adapters’.
So going by what your saying I should be able to do what I want??

but want to keep the shimano discs’ and adapters’.

Surely you’d want to mount the R1 discs as they’re much lighter?
