I was expecting to be able to buy a pair of these from anywhere with them in stock, strip them down and space them to 130mm. From a cursory search on this fine website, I'm not so sure I'm going to be able to.
Can someone give me the definitive answer?
a) I can buy them and do it myself; or
b) I need to buy them ready adjusted as special parts are needed.
Bloody marzocchi discontinuing the forks I wanted!

Can't say for sure on the 2013s, but it's dead straightforward on 2012 and before

give Loco or TFTuned a call?
It is a bit annoying that SRAM don't give any details on their website.
They list the fork as being for 130/140/150mm travel, and since it has always been doable with spacers before, if that has changed, I'd expect them to publicise it a bit - to just let people buy them blind is not really cricket.

New Solo air spring assembly required. See page 10 / 11 of the manual:
see http://singletrackworld.com/forum/topic/rockshox-2013-solo-air-travel-reduction-critical-problem
as far as I know the spring assemblies aren't available in the UK yet. I think Nov/Dec was the latest word
cheers all.. loco lists them at 150mm and 140mm, I presume the latter will have been sorted with the alternate air spring.
trouble is, the price is about £100 more than they are on winstanleys - seems like quite a premium to have them at the desired height 🙁
Hmm.... what fork do I want 😕

Bugger, I presume this is the same for the Revelation 29er solo airs then? I was going to get a set and lower them down for now but not if it needs a new solo air assembly as well
It is true. You can't lower them using spacers like previous revs. I was about to get some to run at 130mm on my soul but bought some 120mm sids rct3's instead and they are lovely forks.
You can't lower 2013 revs (or sids etc) in the same way you could previous years, you'd need a new spring assembly that costs £££.
Is you haven't bought it yet go for a 2012. You can still pick them up on t'internet.
