If you are a Print & Digital subscriber you should have spotted a special postcard that we inserted in every subscribers copy of Issue 77 that began arriving earlier this week. Hopefully you have not thrown it away as it’s your chance to get a £5 credit off your next subscription renewal as well as the gratitude of your best mate for giving him access to our Premier subscription system for a whole month.
That postcard is actually a clever voucher that will allow the recipient to access our vast digital subscription system (including Mag Archive) up until the 30th November 2012. After that time if they then sign up to become a paying annual subscriber we will credit YOUR subscription account with £5 off your next renewal.
But before you go searching for that voucher and a friend to give it to make sure that you activate it first.
Activating your voucher is easy and will make sure that when your friend subscribes we credit the right account with the £5.
Just follow these simple instructions.
- Find where you put the voucher
- head to singletrackworld.com/voucher (Make sure you are logged in to the site)
- Enter the voucher code in the box and hit the ‘Check Your Voucher’ button.
- That’s it! Now give it to your best friend

Not for Digital subsribers 🙁
I missed out on the sub and T-shirt.
I missed out on the free route guide
🙁
If digital isn’t that important to you why not offer the same incentives to people who upgrade from digital to digital and print?.
The reason Digital subscribers haven’t got the voucher is because it’s a physical voucher that was posted with printed copies of the mag. What I can say is that this is the first in our planned roll out of these friend vouchers and if this one is a success and it works for us in terms of recouping a profit in new subscribers compared to the cost of running the promotion then we plan to roll it out in other ways too, and that will involve targeting digital only subscribers.
We’ve made sure that all subscribers can benefit from this book deal by making the book available to buy for all subscribers in our shop for £10 off – we make nothing from those sales.
The issues surrounding how we promote subscriptions and the various deals we are able to run along with the economics behind them I’ve tried to explain in my last blog post. I hope that explains things in a better way than I have room to do here.
But in short we are trying to make sure that all our subscribers feel that they get continued value for money from their current subscription package and we are always looking at ways to add more value while at the same time finding ways to encourage more people that subscribing to Singletrack is a good idea 🙂
Not found mine yet, although I haven’t read all the way through it yet.
Nothing dropped out when I opened it…
Hi Pinkster,
Have another look and if you still can’t find it let me know.
Thanks Patrick will check it out when I get home.
Hi Patrick,
It finally turned up last night. Turns out the current Mrs. Pinkster had taken it out.
Ho hum….
