- Madison mudguards & rack

This bike rides beautifully and I will be sorry to see it go. My reason for selling is that it's my second road bike and I've found my way back to riding almost entirely off-road these days. I need to make room and raise funds for a new mountain bike, It is in mechanically great condition, although has some cosmetic scrapes and a small amount of damage to the rear mudguard (shown in photos).

I'm selling it in it's winter commuter guise, but with the rack and guards off and a sportier pair of tyres it's very rapid and comfortable, making a great bike for big days out.

The hybrid cable disc brakes are powerful enough for me as an 85kg+ rider, although don't have the immediate bite of a full hydraulic set-up. Power could be enhanced further by the addition of compressionless cable outers (e.g. Jagwire).

For full transparency, I listed this bike on eBay recently with a different wheelset. It sold, but sadly the buyer didn't pay or respond to my messages, hence I'm listing here now that eBay have agreed to cancel that transaction.
